tentacles

not a great picture, but a tasty dish. it's a baby octopus ragu served with some hot polenta. the sauce was made with onions, garlic, fresh thyme, anchovies, capers, oregano, chili flakes, cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste. i buy the octopus frozen and boil it in unsalted water fro 45+ minutes until tender. it has a bit more bite than calamari, but isn't chewy at all. quite tasty and perfect for some hot polenta!
